New Renderings of 2010 Saab 9-5 Surface

Over the weekend, Steve at SaabsUnited.com posted some CGI images of the the new Saab 9-5 in both sedan and wagon form. After a weekend full of debate and conjecture, it now appears that the images are not 100% true to final form. Nevertheless, they represent a fairly decent glimpse of the most significant new Saab in a long time.

While the images were supposedly leaked by a Saab insider, Germany's Auto Motor und Sport magazine —who have already seen and driven pre-production versions of the 9-5 — have clarified that "The upper line on the side windows is not correct, and the same goes for the C-pillar design. The rear looks 'strange', which is not the case with the real car."

In any event, we should see real images in the coming weeks. Until then, we have to speculate with these.
